Roles & Responsibilities of Advisory Council Members

As a member of the IIRD Global Advisory Council, you play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality, reach, and impact of IIRD’s academic initiatives. Below are your core responsibilities:

1. Contribute as a Keynote Speaker or Session Chair (Not Mandatory, but Encouraged)

Advisory Council members are encouraged to actively participate by serving as a Keynote Speaker, Session Chair, or Panel Moderator, depending on their area of expertise and availability. This strengthens the academic presence and visibility of the council.

2. Understand Conference Structure and Responsibilities

Gain a clear understanding of the conference framework, committee roles, and responsibilities. Support the execution of the scientific agenda and program flow.

3. Identify Leading Experts and Collaborators

Recommend and invite renowned experts and thought leaders to participate in the conference, enriching its content and expanding global reach.

4. Engage and Confirm Keynote Speakers

Work with the organizing team to identify and confirm keynote speakers and guests of honor, ensuring alignment with the conference theme and goals.

5. Contribute to Scientific and Technical Sessions

Assist in planning engaging presentation formats. Support the development of conference content and introduce speakers or moderate technical sessions as needed.

6. Nominate Top Keynote Candidates

Recommend exceptional keynote speakers within your domain to maintain the scholarly and thematic strength of the event.

7. Supervise Tasks and Ensure Timely Execution

Track the progress of assigned conference-related tasks and ensure that deadlines are met in line with the master schedule.

8. Coordinate with the Project Manager on Publicity

Collaborate to review and refine all publicity content including social media posts, event flyers, email campaigns, and official announcements to ensure brand and message consistency.

9. Promote Regional Participation and Diversity

Identify notable researchers and professionals from your region or network to participate in the event, enhancing regional representation and engagement with IIRD’s services.
