At IIRD, we understand that under certain circumstances, authors may need to withdraw their manuscripts. However, to maintain transparency and publication ethics, the following guidelines apply:
Authors may formally request to withdraw their article within 15 days of acceptance. After this period, the editorial board reserves the right to proceed with peer review decisions, including publication or rejection
A withdrawal request must be sent via the corresponding author’s registered email to team@iirdglobal.com, clearly stating the reason for withdrawal and the manuscript ID or title.
If an author requests withdrawal after the article has been accepted, and typesetting or publishing work has begun, an administrative processing fee may be charged to cover costs incurred.
This policy exists to prevent simultaneous or multiple submissions of the same article to different journals or conferences. Such actions are considered unethical and may lead to blacklisting.
Authors who frequently submit and withdraw manuscripts without valid justification may be subject to temporary or permanent suspension from submitting to IIRD-affiliated journals or conferences.
In all cases, the final decision regarding manuscript withdrawal lies with the IIRD editorial board, whose decision will be based on the reason provided, the timeline, and the stage of processing.
